My Profile

In January 2005 I retired from full-time employment after 40years in the work force. My wife & I have been married since 1971 and have 2 grown children and we live in the suburb of Wynn Vale which is about 10 miles north-east of Adelaide in South Australia.

Along with an interest in these old recordings I have other diverse interests which include electronics, various aspects of computing, amateur radio, caravanning and fishing.

The recordings on this website are a reminder of my younger days playing in a Salvation Army band. My activities these days are limited to the Salvation Army Emergency Services where my wife and I are team members.

The transcription of these old records kept me occupied for a great deal of the first 2 years or so after I retired.
