Manchester Citadel Band

In 1884 the third Salvation Army corps opened in Manchester, Openshaw Citadel. In 1973 Manchester Openshaw and Manchester Temple were amalgamated under the name Manchester Citadel and they occupied a new building near to the city centre. In 1993 the corps moved again and took its new name from the area in Manchester where they settled, Sale.
