Egon Virtuosi Brass

Egon Virtuosi Brass owes its existence to the enterprise of John Street, managing director of Egon Publishers Ltd., who is also a Salvation Army Bandmaster. The formation of a band such as this has long been just a dream, but changes in The salvation Army's regulations governing Salvationist musicians and music enable the dream to be realised.

Egon Virtuosi Brass consists of invited Salvationist musicians, all of whom are active members of their own local bands. The personnel is drawn from around the country representing an assemblage of The Salvation Army's best brass instrumentalists.
